Samsung Galaxy S25: towards a significant price increase?

Will we have to pay more to afford the new Galaxy S25 series? The question is not yet resolved. But if a recent leak revealed by European online shopping site, Zanetti is anything to go by, we can expect some bad news on that front.

Towards an increase of 100 euros?

Here is the new price range revealed by the specialized site:

Galaxy S25

  • 128 GB (SM-S931BZSDEUE) – €973
  • 256 GB (SM-S931BDBGEUE) – €1,036
  • 512 GB (SM-S931BZSHEUE) – €1,162

Galaxy S25+

  • 256 GB (SM-S936BZSDEUE) – €1,246
  • 512 GB (SM-S936BDBGEUE) – €1,371

Galaxy S25 Ultra

  • 256 GB (SM-S938BZBDEUE) – €1,571
  • 512 GB (SM-S938BZBGEUE) – €1,696
  • 1 TB (SM-S938BZBHEUE) – €1,948

As you can see, the prices increase by 100 euros for each of these models. That said, this is not an official communication and it is not certain that this increase will actually materialize within a few days.

AI at the heart of new developments

As a reminder, Samsung will reveal its new Galaxy S25 series on January 22 at 7 p.m. Unsurprisingly, the South Korean giant has decided to rely on artificial intelligence for these new models. The company teased:

Prepare for more natural and intuitive AI. The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming and it will change the way you interact with the world every day. The new Galaxy S series is poised to once again set the bar for mobile AI experiences today and in the future.

A statement, certainly tempting, but which is not very concrete. We also mention a brighter screen and a more powerful processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. An appointment has been made in a few days to find out more.

For your part, is this possible price drop likely to dissuade you from buying the new Samsung Galaxy? Tell us in the comments.

What to remember:

  • European online shopping site Zanetti has revealed the prices of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series
  • We can expect an increase of 100 euros for each of the models
  • We must take this information with a grain of salt and wait for official communication from the South Korean giant.
  • Consumers could be deterred if this price increase really materializes
  • New smartphones will benefit from a more powerful processor and advances in AI
