This new type of boyfriend, who was called Leo, quickly became indispensable in Ayrin’s life. After some time with a free account, she was required to upgrade to the paid subscription (at $20 per month) to send about 30 messages per hour to the AI. Still, it was far from enough.
Thanks to Leo, the young woman was able to share her most secret fantasy, the one that she cannot admit to human partners. The young woman even managed to defy the limitations of OpenAI to have explicitly sexual exchanges with the AI. In addition to satisfying her sexually, to the point of stopping before her sports session, ChatGPT offers Ayrin constant comfort and advice on how to eat better. He even helps her work on her lessons. So much so that the young woman spends more than 20 hours a week chatting with artificial intelligence. She reached 56 hours in a week where she needed Leo a lot.
But ChatGPT has its limitations. The chatbot can “only” store around 30,000 words. When it reaches this level, it must reset. While he is still Ayrin’s boyfriend, he no longer remembers some specific details. Each time, it is heartbreaking for the young woman, who mourns it as one mourns a breakup.
The most disturbing thing about all of this is that Ayrin is married. For financial reasons, the couple had to live thousands of kilometers apart for several months. If all is well between them, that hasn’t stopped the young woman from having the perfect love affair with ChatGPT. If she never explains the importance of her attachment to Leo to her husband, she still confided to him that she had made love with the AI.
