Many Internet users are already using artificial intelligence tools, such as Chatgpt or Gemini, to fill their CVs or write a cover letter. But Google wants to go further, by developing a tool specially designed for this use. In a post published this week, the Mountain View firm presents this new tool called Career Dreamer, which is currently experienced in the United States (for the moment, it is not available in other countries).
“Career Dreamer uses AI to find models and connect the points between your unique experiences, your training, your skills and your interests. Consider it as a tense hand that helps you make the link between your past and your future ”we read in this announcement.
What does Career Dreamer offer?
More concretely, Career Dreamer will help the user identify his skills, as well as his interests. Then, the tool will be able to generate a “professional identity declaration”, based on this information. This is a short description that can be integrated into CVs or professional profiles, to attract the attention of recruiters.

But that’s not all. Thanks to information on the experiences, skills and interests of the user, this tool can also generate a list of jobs that could correspond to its profile. To offer this feature, Google relies on data from the Lightcast company and on those of the Bureau of Labor American Statistics.

And from the session on Career Dreamer, the user can bounce on Gemini, where he can get help to write a CV.

Practical for a new career
Although Career Dreamer is available for everyone in the United States, the new AI-based tool, particularly targets people who are starting a new career. In her announcement, the firm quotes the example of an American who, after being a housewife for 20 years, is looking for a job.
“She answered a few simple questions about her career and her interests, and Career Dreamer showed her how her life experiences could result in skills and new career opportunities”explains the Mountain View firm.
