Shortly after this phone call, the victim receives one or more emails that claim that the mailbox has been hacked. As always in the event of phishing, several malicious links are offered in order to recover your personal identifiers and passwords.
More than ever, vigilance is therefore in the face of these increasingly sophisticated attacks. In particular, you must check the email address in order to detect a suspicious fault. Regarding the call, you could identify certain slowness or an unusual rhythm in your interlocutor. You can also choose to never respond to unknown numbers.
