Inspired by a novel by Colson Whitehead, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Nickel Boys Tell the story of D’Elwood, a young black boy from the Tallahass of the 60s. Despite segregation, he is promised to a bright school future … until he finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. The young boy was then sent to a minor recovery house.
