On this series, the Redmi Note are a little closer to the premium models, offering a more resistant design. Indeed, to make these devices more resistant to drops and scratches, Xiaomi has added elements such as a high-strength aluminum composite frame, energy-absorbing foam and a buffer polymer material to the design. Added to this is the use of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Pro models and Gorilla Glass 5 on the non-Pro versions. On the other hand, the Pro models also benefit from a high level of waterproofing, certified IP68.
Processor, camera, screen, fast charging
Each model in the Redmi Note 14 series (they all have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display) fits different needs and budgets. If you want the best technical sheet, you will have to opt for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, whose starting price will be 469 euros, for the 8 GB + 256 GB version. This uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a platform that Qualcomm designed for affordable models, but whose performance can approach that of premium devices. The screen has a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, we have a 200-megapixel main photo sensor, combined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro. On the front, Xiaomi offers a 20 megapixel sensor. Otherwise, the 5,110 mAh battery charges at 120W, which is a very fast speed for a mid-range.
The Note 14 Pro 5G is a little cheaper than the Note 14 Pro+ 5G, with a starting price of 399 euros for the 8 GB + 256 GB version. This model also has a 200 megapixel main photo sensor, but uses a processor MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra. In addition, the battery supports fast charging at 45 W.
Otherwise, there is the Note 14 Pro (without “5G”), which has a starting price of 349 euros. This one uses a Mediatek Helio G100-Ultra processor and displays a 2400 x 1080 resolution. But while the other Pro models use a 20-megapixel sensor for selfies, the Redmi Note 14 Pro uses a 32-megapixel front sensor.
As for the Redmi Note 14 5G, it has a starting price of 299 euros. This uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra processor and displays a resolution of 2400 x 1080, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The battery charges at 45 W.
The cheapest model is the Redmi Note 14 (without “5G”), which has a starting price of 199 euros. This model uses the MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra processor, and its battery charges at 33W. Both non-Pro devices have three cameras on the back, including a 108-megapixel main sensor.
