Eddie Felson, ex-billiard champion, spots Vincent Lauria, a young gifted but impulsive player. He decides to coach him and plunge into the world of betting, where tensions quickly rise between the two. Mentor and pupil challenge themselves in a struggle as intense as it is elegant. An essential film by Martin Scorsese, carried by Paul Newman and Tom Cruise.
Shotgun Wedding (TF1, 9:10 p.m.)

According to the synopsis proposed by Allociné ::
A couple decides to marry in an exotic place far from civilization, but this paradisiacal space is under the thumb of criminals. By protecting their respective families, the lovebirds rediscover why they were so much to get married.
Without being a masterpiece, this feature film signed Jason Moore is nonetheless entertaining. We also appreciate the casting that hit the bull’s eye with Jennifer Lopez, Darcy Rivera, Josh Duhamel, or Carol Fowler and Jennifer Coolidge.
That’s it for this week. Note, if these three films are not to your liking, that there will be other feature films this Sunday evening on TNT, and in particular Boutchou (W9, 9:10 p.m.), Dream Team (TFX, 10:55 p.m.), and 007 Specter (France 2, 11:10 p.m.).
